Detox Distilled Water Diet

October 9, 2014 By DistilledWaterAssociation

Sometimes you just need a detox. You want to get rid of all the bad from your body and focus on a healthier lifestyle. The detox distilled water diet could be something worth considering. It is highly effective, and drinking this water is healthy for you on a long term basis. Here are some of the ways you will benefit from detoxing with distilled water.

All Impurities Removed

Distilled water already has the impurities removed. That means you’re just putting pure water through your system. It is easier for your blood stream to absorb, and better for your organs. You will flush out all the toxins in your body, without adding anything extra due to the water.

Plain tap or bottled water still has a number of minerals and chemicals. These leave a residue in your body, and you’re left with some bacteria and minerals in your system, even though you are trying to detox. It doesn’t really work out that well.

Distilled Water Grabs Toxins

Scientists have found that distilled water is more likely to grab the toxins that are in your body. That’s because all the toxins and chemicals have already been removed. It wants those that are currently affecting your health. That will help to flush them out of your system sooner and easier.

However, it is also important to cover the fact that it can remove the healthy minerals too. When detoxing with distilled water, you should also eat a healthy and balanced diet. This will help to add the good minerals in that the water is removing.

No Need for Flavorings

Distilled water tastes great, because all you have is the pure water. There are no chemicals and harmful materials clouding the liquid. That means there is no need for adding flavors to your water. You can focus on drinking pure water, which is much better for detoxing.

It is worth following the detox distilled water diet, even just for a short period of time. Distilled water will remove the toxins from your body much quicker as it is already void of the impurities.

The Distilled Water Diet: Should You Follow It?

October 9, 2014 By DistilledWaterAssociation

Did you know that the “distilled water diet” is now a thing? Well, it’s not quite a diet in itself, but the idea is that distilled water can help to speed up weight loss. It should be used instead of drinking tap water and other fluids. But is this something you should follow? Here are some facts to consider.

You Still Need Food

Many people berate distilled water because minerals are removed. It’s important with any diet to still get a healthy and balanced diet. This is also important with the distilled water diet. You need to create a calorie deficit, while focusing on healthy, filling foods.

Get your five a day, and make sure you have the right levels of calcium and unsaturated fats. Getting a balance of protein and carbohydrates is also important.

Negative Calories

Distilled water is a negative-calorie drink. That means it requires more calories to process and burn than it does to drink. While you would need to drink a few glasses to see a weight loss, it is better for you than drinking anything else, especially fruit juices and sugared drinks. Distilled water is also tastier, so you will want to drink more of it.

Health Benefits at the Same Time

Opting for distilled water in your diet will also offer health benefits, as well as weight loss. It removes the harmful chemicals and bacteria. The minerals that are bad for you are also removed, including salt. Your body remains hydrated for longer, and the water doesn’t leave residue behind. You will also find that you won’t suffer from as much water retention, which can help to reduce your weight.

Following the distilled water diet may not be the best thing if you just drink water on its own. However, it is worth adding distilled water into your current diet. It will help you lose weight, and also helps to improve your health due to getting pure water every day.

Water Diet – Distilled is better

October 9, 2014 By DistilledWaterAssociation

If you think drinking distilled water in and of itself is a subject of much debate, wait until the topic of a distilled water diet comes up. That is exactly what we will be discussing in this article. Sure, there are two sides to just about every story and this subject is no different. However, we will primarily be focusing on what we believe are the benefits of a distilled water diet.

The term “distilled water diet” is more often than not referred to as distilled water fasting. One thing that is extremely important about this type of diet – or any diet for that matter – is that you educate yourself thoroughly about exactly what it consists of and – for lack of a better term- exactly what you’re getting yourself into.

While it is true that the distilled water diet helps to disrupt any bad eating habits you currently have, you need to know how to go about it right or you may find to your dismay that it was all for nothing and you will be right back at square one. Now let’s get this straight from the get-go. You will not be drinking only distilled water and that’s it.

On the contrary, it is highly suggested that you incorporate fresh vegetables and fruits into your diet regimen. Distilled water diets usually run 14 to 21 days in duration. Many people who have followed this diet have found that they have a better understanding of the fact that all the excess salt and sugar we tend to add to our food is simply not necessary. That is in large part due to the fact that their palates have been rid of many impurities and chemicals.

Another important thing to understand is that the 14 to 21 days mentioned above is not an absolute standard. Even just 3 to 4 days and in some rare instances one day of a distilled water diet have been found to be quite helpful. In fact, some professionals recommend that those considering this type of diet regiment take baby steps (shorter durations) in the beginning to better prepare themselves for a full-scale distilled water diet.

While there are many diet regimens from which to choose, we do suggest that you consider the distilled water diet as one viable option. And as with any fitness or dietary regime, you should always consult with your physician or a qualified medical professional before actually beginning such a program.

Distillation: Myths Exposed

October 8, 2014 By DistilledWaterAssociation

When we shop for water at the supermarket we generally look for purified water that comes in a bottle. What exactly is purified water? To a layman person, it means that the water has been filtered and cleaned of all impurities. However, purified water still contains its vitamins and minerals that the body needs to survive. On the other hand, the distillation process completely wipes out everything from the water, including the minerals. This means the water does not contain anything in it at all. So, does this mean drinking distilled water is bad for you? A popular myth about distilled water is that it extracts the vitamins and minerals from your own body when you consume it. This is totally ridiculous and untrue. Distilled water cannot extract minerals from your body’s cells; however, it won’t give the cells minerals either. But, this does not mean the water is bad for you because it can still help your digestive system process foods. Besides, drinking water with too many minerals in it has been known to cause cardiovascular health problems in people. Many of the purified waters sold in stores have “flavoring enhancing” minerals added to the water that already had minerals in it to begin with. This means the water is oversaturated with minerals, which will likely cause you health problems. Distilled water is a soft type of water that will not negatively affect your health in any way.

You might be thinking, “Where do I get the minerals and vitamins for my body if not from the water I drink?” The simple answer to this is from natural foods, like fruits and vegetables. You should be eating these anyway if you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle. If you eat fruits and vegetables on a regular basis then you won’t need to get your vitamins and minerals from water. The only time you will need mineral water is if you are eating junk foods, like donuts and potato chips, on a regular basis. One of the main reasons why obese people have such severe health problems has to do with them not drinking any water or eating any natural foods. With that kind of lifestyle, the body is getting zero vitamins and minerals. Now you could compensate for the junk food by drinking the mineral water, but you have to take into account the negative health effects of the fats and sugars in those foods as well. Therefore, the best choice you can make is to drink distilled water and eat fruits and vegetables. This is the right combination that will help you live a long and healthy life.

Reasons Why You Should be Drinking Distilled Water

October 4, 2014 By DistilledWaterAssociation

Water in its purest form is what is referred to as distilled water. It contains no toxins or any traces of impurities. It simply contains nothing, it’s so pure and clean. Nature has a way of providing us with distilled natural water in the form of rain. But with pollution in the air, the rains are now loaded with a plethora of toxins and impurities. You can however employ the use of a water distiller and get distilled drinking water that is pure and healthy to drink. Here is how the distiller works.

It actually works the same way as nature. The steam distilled water machine initially boils the water added to it, in turn destroying all the parasites and bacteria in the water. The steam that rises above the boiler is what is known as distilled water. Impurities are all left behind. Nature does the same: The sun heats the oceans; vapor rises to form clouds, and then all impurities and salts are left behind. Drinking distilled water has numerous health benefits to your body.

Why Distilled Water is Healthy for Your Body

The human body is approximately 60% to 70% water. So by drinking distilled water you are basically replenishing and hydrating your entire body. In fact, you are essentially flushing out built-up inorganic minerals from your organs and joints as the distilled water travels through your body absorbing them. Drinking water that has been distilled keeps your body energized, healthier, and feeling lighter. You are even more likely to be healthier by losing weight by following a distilled water diet.

Other advantages of drinking distilled water include, improving immune functions, generating cellular energy, regulating body temperature, cushioning and lubricating joints, transporting and increasing nutrient absorption, removing toxins and waste products, improving oxygen delivery, aiding in proper digestion and alleviating asthma, allergies, and arthritis symptoms. Distilled water also relieves dizzy spells, headaches, reduces depression, anxiety and stress, etc.

Why Your Body Cries Out For Water

The more you go to the bathroom, the more you lose water from your body. That water must be replaced, so as to have a healthier balanced body. Same case when you lose your body’s water through perspiration. The 70% amount of water in your body is essential as it also helps in the digesting of food in the body. If your digestive system lacks water, constipation is very likely to occur. You certainly are aware of the discomforts that are associated with constipating.

But not all water is good water for your body. Distilled water, for instance, is beneficial water since it utterly promotes weight loss, improves skin appearance, sharpens mental performance, heightens energy levels in the body, and it is almost 100% free of impurities. But the same cannot be said of the bottled water and filtered tap water – that may not free of harmful impurities.
