Some of the Amazing Qualities of Distilled Water

October 9, 2014 By DistilledWaterAssociation

There are many amazing qualities when it comes to distilled water. Whether it is used for drinking purposes or for household and industrial use, it is a rather magnificent product. While it is tasteless in nature (in other words, it tastes pure!) and devoid of any contaminants and minerals it does have many useful and beneficial purposes. Before we go further into that we will explain the distillation process.

Distilled water is in essence regular or tap water that has been boiled and made into steam, a process that causes the separation of the pure water from any and all impurities it had when the process first began. These contaminants become solids that sit at the bottom of the distiller chamber. Distilled water, when used properly and not in excess can work wonders on the human body. The facts are that the type of water you take into your body does indeed affect your tissues and their performance.

This purified form of water performs like a magnet, drawing potentially harmful toxins and minerals from your body. This also greatly lessens the incidence of painful maladies like kidney and gall stones. Your joints in turn also are better, easing movement and lessening chances of developing arthritis. If you are sick or become ill then drinking distilled water will help hasten the removal of toxins from your body, thus helping you to become well quicker.

Not only is distilled water helpful when drinking, it is also very useful for the household as well. Distilled water in your steam iron will increase the longevity of your iron because it is devoid of harmful calcium and mineral deposits that can clog up your sprayer and make the iron essentially useless. It is also healthy for your fish and other sea life if you own an aquarium.

And it doesn’t stop there. Many companies, especially those that are into manufacturing or the industrial sector use nothing but distilled water for their machinery and equipment. Why, for the same reason that it is used in your household steam iron. Automobile and motorcycle battery manufacturers as well advise that you use nothing but distilled water when filling up a battery.

Yes indeed, there are many benefits associated with distilled water. Those in the know always make sure they have some distilled water on hand in their households.

The Hot Topic of Cold Distilled Water

October 9, 2014 By DistilledWaterAssociation

Many topics are considered “hot topics” and distilled water is certainly one of them. The usage of it – say for example – in household settings or for industrial purposes not so much.   It is in the drinking of distilled water where it becomes the aforementioned hot topic. We will be delving into the benefits derived from distilled water. Of course, in the interest of fairness we will also briefly touch upon the other side of the coin as well.

Face it, in many communities the tap water that comes out of our faucets, while undergoing any of a variety of treatments, is still not up to par according to many experts on the subject. While tap water for the most part is fine for things like watering the yard, cooking things and washing your clothes there are other instances where it is not advisable to use it. One perfect example is your good old steam iron. Tap water can spell a short lifespan for it.

A quick consultation of your steam iron’s user manual will in almost all instances tell you to use only distilled water in your iron to avoid calcium buildup and clogging of your spray system. And when one washes their dishes and utensils using nothing but tap water this will inevitably lead to stains or unsightly spotting. And your kettles or stove top coffee pots? Tap water will eventually cause scaling on the inside. If possible, it is always advised to use distilled water.

So how do you derive the benefits attributed to distilled water? Well, you can purchase a water distiller or other distilling equipment suitable for homes, as water distillers are very cheap when you compare to buying bottled water. This water can be used for both drinking and household use.

We earlier mentioned the usage of distilled water in your steam iron. The same goes for an aquarium if you happen to have one. Tap water can in many cases be harmful to your fish so it is always advisable to go the distilled water route; however, in fish tanks, you’re going to have to add minerals to your water, as fish need pure water that contains minerals. We hope this has served as a helpful explanation regarding the benefits of distilled water.

Some of the Benefits of Drinking Distilled Water

October 9, 2014 By DistilledWaterAssociation

There are many benefits when it comes to the use and drinking of distilled water. Nonetheless, it is still a topic of hot debate. As with anything else, there are always two sides to the coin and distilled water usage is no different. In this article, we will discuss the benefits of distilled water as well as what folks on the other side of the subject have to say.

It is estimated that more than half of the people in America drink water from the tap. This is water that has undergone any of a number of treatments in order to become what the powers that be deem drinkable. When water is distilled it in essence removes any chemicals, harmful or otherwise that were previously present.

By virtue of the distillation process, any toxins that can be viewed as damaging to the body are removed. This is done by a boiling and subsequent evaporation process. The vapor that comes from the evaporating is what removes the chemicals and toxins. Of course this also causes any mineral deposits to disappear as well.

One major upside to drinking distilled water is that it is highly beneficial when a person is ill or to help reduce future illness. This purified water – if you will – will flush any harmful toxins out of the body, enabling the sick individual to get well quicker. It is also believed to be quite helpful when one is afflicted by certain sorts of cancer. The usage guidelines suggested in this case are probably best explained by a qualified medical professional.

Other benefits of distilled water come in its usefulness in industrial settings. Many companies use it in their machinery as it keeps their equipment running better since it is devoid of any calcium or mineral deposit buildup which could cause their machinery to malfunction. If you’ve ever consulted documentation regarding automobile or motorcycle batteries, you will notice that they strongly suggest using distilled water. This goes for household steam irons as well.

So yes, there are many benefits to using and drinking distilled water.

Many folks are curious about distilled water and naturally want to know what benefits are associated with it. In this article we will touch upon exactly what some of them are. The first thing people need to know is that distilled water is in fact good old h2o in its absolute purest form. And drinking it can certainly do you some good.

You see, when water is in its natural state, it has an assortment of impurities as well as contaminants. While it is also true that it has various forms of calcium, iron and other minerals, nonetheless it still has its downsides. This is where the distillation process comes into play.
