Distilled Water drinking great for Emergencies

December 14, 2013 By DistilledWaterAssociation

Often,  the Earth is referred to as as the “Blue Planet,” because of the abundant amount of water that that covers 70% of the planet’s surface. Ninety-seven percent of the earth’s water is the ocean itself, but all that water is not available for human consumption because of its high salt content. That leaves only a small four percent for fresh water, but two-thirds of that is locked in glaciers and polar ice.

When there is a natural disaster or emergency, these resources may be non existent. With recent hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters have taught us a valuable lesson: Water can be all around, but it may not be safe enough to drink. Our cities water treatment facilities are not protected. Both American Red Cross and FEMA recommend the same process used water distillation to remove microorganisms that resist other methods of water treatment. This process leaves behind impurities as well as heavy metals, salts, and most other chemicals. Water distillers are versatile and portable making them vital in an emergency. You will single handedly increase the chances of survival for you and your family in an emergency situation when you have access to clean water.

Pure water is you lifeline and keeping a distiller around for emergencies can literally save your life. When disaster hits, you’ll be SAFE and prepared with a supply of pure drinking water to drink and the ability to make as much as you need. Every household should have a unit, if only for emergencies.

Is your water as PURE as it could possibly be?

December 14, 2013 By DistilledWaterAssociation

How pure is your water? People have a misconception that that their tap water, bottled water or even home filtration systems is “pure”. This couldn’t be any farther from the actual truth.  Typically, bottled water is usually just ordinary water from the tap that has been at best minimally filtered in order to get rid of the bad taste and odors. And home filtered water and reverse osmosis contain microscopic contaminants that make it through the filtering process. Filters also become a breeding ground for harmful bacteria they get overlooked for regular cleaning or become clogged. When this happens, you water can be contaminated with even more dangerous properties than before!

The Distillation process is the only single-stage approach that produces the PUREST drinking water possible in the world. Natures way of purifying water is through earth’s water cycle – or The hydrologic cycle. Similarly, the distillation process, produces “rain in a chamber” as regular tap water is vaporized into uncontaminated steam before its condensed back to it’s original pure liquid state. This process leaves behind all dangerous waterborne contaminants such as viruses, bacteria, microorganisms and heavy metals and other pollutant.  The result is pure water as fresh as the rain, just as nature intended.

So why is it so important to get the purest drinking water? The human body made up approximately 70% water. When we drink water that contains impurities, the body acts as a filter, trapping the pollutants and other toxins that are swimming in the water. The build up of harmful toxins in the body can cause disease and premature death. Distilled water is the purest you can come by. You wouldn’t put dirty oil into your car, so why would you allow impure water to hydrate your body.

Is Distilled Water Better For Me?

December 14, 2013 By DistilledWaterAssociation

We need to stay hydrated with pure water in order to retain our physical and mental health. Our tissues’ cells need to be hydrated in order to function properly. Across the Unites States, we are starting to see the results of increased cancer rates and obesity. Most people are becoming more aware of the health risks associated with chemicals and toxins they consume either directly or indirectly. So what is the healthiest way to stay hydrated?

Tap water contains contaminants and toxins that are poisonous to liver and kidneys that can impede your body’s cell functions.  In Fact, The Environmental Protection Agency reported in 2007, that corroded pipes in many U.S. cities were severely compromising the quality of water in those communities. Using distilled water takes away all the impurities and chemicals like chlorine, carbon and aluminum sulfate that are added to adjust the pH levels or eliminate cloudiness. The two most common chemicals that are found in both tap water and bottled water are chlorine and fluoride. One more benefit of distilled water is that it does not contain any of these chemicals.  The process of Distilling water can prevent intoxication and reduce the risk of illnesses by removing impurities from the water.

Distilled water also assists the detox process. Some people have tried to say that distilled water can suck up necessary minerals and nutrients like a sponge. In reality, this is one of the benefits of distilled water. Although it can’t actually suck up minerals that your body needs, it actually acts as magnet to all the excess minerals waste that has been excreted by your cells.

When asking yourself which type of water is best for you, Its easy to compare the quality water that every popular water treatment system on the market produces. But the benefits of distilled water exceed even the most expensive processes out there.

Is Distilled Water Good For You?

December 14, 2013 By DistilledWaterAssociation

We are targeted through a saturated market to buy water that is deionized, distilled, flavored, filtered, celebrity endorsed or vitamin/sports infused. Companies are constantly telling the one process is always better than the other for the purpose of promoting their own water purification equipment. So who should we be listening to?

Contrary to popular belief, distilled water is the purest water of all water purification systems because of the lack of contaminants. So why do we hear so often that Distilled Water is unsafe to Drink? The answer is simple. Reverse Osmosis units and Atmospheric water generators cost much more than water distillers, so the so sales and commissions are much more beneficial than trying to sell Water distillers.  The most common problem with drinking tap water is that the there are often times chemicals used as part of the water treatment process.  Even some water bottle companies cannot claim their water is pure of chlorine and impurities. Estimates from the Government reveal 40% of bottled water comes straight from tap water.

There a number of health benefits associated with drinking distilled water.  The process is very clean and it also It enhances the taste of liquids such as coffee, juices and tea. The amount of harmful impurities is almost entirely removed, rendering the water almost 100% pure. It also advocates healthy kidney function by allowing the body to naturally filter out pollutants already in the body.  For less than a penny a glass -or 15 cents a gallon, this is the most cost-effective and versatile process you can come by for pure water.

So don’t believe everything you are told. Reverse Osmosis and Atmospheric water is essentially the same quality as distilled water. The only reason you don’t hear lies that Reverse Osmosis water is unhealthy is simple… pure marketing.
